In 2022, along with Salesforce, Tejas undertook one of the complex implementations of Salesforce Order Management solution together with Tejas WMS integrated with Salesforce OM. Fenwick had a big eco system for catering to their eCommerce and POS sales backed by systems to carry out order orchestration and fulfillment like Salesforce OM, Tejas WM, MuleSoft, Dynamic-365, Dropship fulfillment etc.,

With Tejas WM, in addition to all OOB functionality, we provided the support for custom use cases like Mini Pick, Click & Collect Putaway and Return Manifest, Order Consolidation with their main Warehouse advising on the custom advanced shipping manifests etc.,

Implementation Timeline:
Salesforce OM Implementation: 5 months, that includes legacy data migration from SF Order Center OMS to Salesforce OM, Integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 via MuleSoft, Custom e-GiftCard payment and returns process, Store inventory visibility control by locations blocking etc.,

Tejas WMS Implementation: 3 months for Fenwick Warehouse and Stores, that includes integration with Salesforce OM via MuleSoft, BOPIS, BORIS.

Note: Fenwick recently discontinued using Tejas WMS in April’2024 since they consolidated all their warehouse and dropship partner operational solutions into Microsoft Dynamic 365 based on their business operation and management decision.

Fulfillment Model
Own warehouse self-fulfillment with pickers and packers operating throughout the day.

In 2021, Tejas went ahead to work on a challenging implementation of Warehouse Management solution for Shoes.com with Tejas WMS integrated with Salesforce OM. Shoes.com had a big warehouse fulfilling variety of retail orders with varied complexities in terms of type, category and number of order items to be picked, packed and shipped efficiently in a best possible cost-effective way. Tejas were able to fulfill every complex warehouse operational use case that were thrown at.

Implementation Bits:
Complex pick batching rules were defined to optimize the pick process by generating best possible pick routes. Reports and dashboards were developed for displaying and measuring the efficiency of warehouse personnel at different stages of warehouse fulfillment operational flow.

On the pack stage, rate shopping was done from multiple shipping carriers like Amazon Prime Shipping, Easy POST and FedEx to get the optimal best shipping rate before the package was shipped.

Print automation was developed to auto print Pack Sheets via A4 printer (regular) and Labels via Zebra printer.

Implementation Timeline:
TWMS Implementation: 4 months. This includes implementing NetSuite ERP Integration for purchase order processing, return module integrating with Salesforce OMS.
